Below are some common concerns regarding delivery and returns. If you have a different query that isn't answered below, please send a message to customercare@fableandcedar.com

You will be given several delivery options to choose from at the checkout (excluding fabric by the metre). The lead times for delivery are as follows:

Royal Mail 1st Class (Standard Delivery):

2-5 working days

Royal Mail Special Delivery (Guaranteed by 1pm):

Next working day by 1pm, if your order is placed before 4pm. Orders placed after 4pm will be dispatched the following day, and will arrive by 1pm the day after that. Please also take into account bank holidays which may disrupt delivery times.

Royal Mail Special Delivery (Guaranteed by 1pm including Saturdays):

Next day by 1pm excluding Sundays and bank holidays, if your order is placed before 4pm. Orders placed after 4pm will be dispatched the following day, and will arrive by 1pm the day after that. Please also take into account bank holidays which may disrupt delivery times.

Free Delivery

Orders over £200 are eligible for Free Delivery which will be sent using either tracked Royal Mail Special Delivery (Guaranteed by 1pm including Saturdays) or Evri Next Day tracked delivery services. You will receive a tracking number via email.

Fabric by the metre and Made For You services

Orders of fabric by the metre are subject to lead times between 3-6 weeks depending on the type of fabric ordered. The lead time will be present on the product page before you place your order. Once your fabric is ready, I will dispatch it via Evri (formally Hermes) Next Day tracked services, for which you will receive a tracking number.

CANCELLING AN ITEM

If you need to cancel your order for any reason, please contact customercare@fableandcedar.com as soon as possible after placing your order and I will be able to issue a refund for you if I have not yet posted your item. Once you have received a notification of dispatch via email, or I have posted your order already, I am unable to cancel it for you. If you no longer want the item, you can return it via the returns address on the order slip within 14 days of receipt for a refund.

CANCELLING A FABRIC ORDER

If you have ordered fabric by the metre and wish to cancel the order, please contact customercare@fableandcedar.com as soon as possible after placing your order and I will be able to issue a refund for you I have not yet processed your order. Once you have received a notification of processing via email, or I have processed your order already, I am unable to cancel it for you. This is because the fabric is printed to order to your specific length, therefore I am unable to resell it. Before placing your fabric order, please check the product specifications on the product page as well as the Fabric Guide here to ensure you order correctly.

During checkout, you will be given the option to select from Royal Mail's Tracked deliveries. If you have chosen one of these, you will receive tracking information, otherwise the item will be posted out via Royal Mail First Class. If your order is of fabric by the metre, or particularly large, I use Evri (formally Hermes) and will email tracking information to you. If you are expecting tracking information but haven't received it yet, please first check your junk folder, before contacting me at customercare@fableandcedar.com.

 

Returns

Once fabric by the metre has been received, I am unable to accept returns or issue a refund as the fabric is printed to order to your specific length, therefore I am unable to resell it. Before placing your fabric order, please check the product specifications on the product page as well as the Fabric Guide here to ensure you order correctly.

RETURNING AN ITEM

You can return an item for a refund within 14 days of receipt to: S Campbell, 16 Strothers Avenue, Malvern, Worcestershire, WR14 3RS. Once 14 days has passed, I can exchange the item for store credit. 

RETURNING FABRIC BY THE METRE

Once fabric by the metre has been sent to print, I am unable to accept returns or issue a refund as the fabric is printed to order to your specific length, therefore I am unable to resell it. Before placing your fabric order, please check the product specifications on the product page as well as the Fabric Guide here to ensure you order correctly.

Firstly, my sincere apologies. All products and fabrics go through two quality control checks before being posted out to you to minimise any faulty products arriving to you. In the event that you receive a faulty item, please contact Stephanie at customercare@fableandcedar.com and I will aim to rectify the issue. Please note you may be required to provide photographs and to return the item. 

White flecks and slubs

Common occurrences in natural fabrics such as cotton and linen are small white flecks within the print, and slubs within the weave of the fabric. We try to minimise these as much as possible, however they cannot be avoided completely. These occurrences are not considered faults. If their appearance is significant, please contact Stephanie at customercare@fableandcedar.com with photographs and I will aim to rectify the issue.
